Mike Connor

Bio

Mike Connor enters his seventh season as Head Football Coach at Silverdale Baptist Academy and currently serves as the school's Associate Head of School for Athletics. During his coaching career, Connor has helped build championship-caliber programs at Greenville, Trinity Presbyterian, Chattanooga Christian, and Silverdale while coaching numerous athletes who have gone on to compete at every level of college football.

Since arriving at Silverdale in 2020, Connor has led the Seahawks to multiple playoff appearances while earning TnFCA Division II-AA Coach of the Year honors twice (2021, 2024) and East Region Coach of the Year recognition.

A graduate of Troy University with a Master's degree in Athletic Administration from Ohio University, Connor believes football is one of God's greatest classrooms for developing young men. His passion is helping players discover their identity in Christ, pursue excellence, and become leaders who impact their families, churches, teams, and communities.

Mike and his wife, Paula, have four children: Nathan, Clay, Timothy, and Anna Claire.
